Celebrating Diversity in the Classroom is a short documentary created with the support of the Alberta Teachers' Association.
Physician, author and education advocate, Dr. Nhung N. Tran-Davies shares the compelling story behind her children’s book The Doll, which follows a young girl who must abruptly leave her home to face uncertainty and danger. Celebrating Diversity in the Classroom explores ways to stay connected to one's culture and heritage through stories told by authors, educators, and students.
