Anne Mueller
is an award-winning Vietnamese-Canadian filmmaker and educator based in Edmonton, Alberta. Her deep passion for storytelling was ignited through years of working on theatre productions and film sets, alongside an internship at CBC. Anne holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, where she majored in Dramatic Arts.
In 2021, Anne created, wrote, and directed three seasons of Cooking with Kyssara, a celebrated series exploring love, community, and heritage through family recipes. The show earned acclaim on the festival circuit, taking home awards for Best Family Film, Best Cinematography, and an Audience Choice Award.
She followed this success in 2024 with the nationally screened documentary The Artist: A Creative Journey. Narrated by actor Andrew Phung, the film intimately explores the powerful connection between the creative arts and mental well-being.
Anne is currently in development on FALLING IN ACTION, a compelling documentary spotlighting Canadian stunt performers and fight designers. The film highlights the creation of safe training spaces and is slated for release in 2027.
