About
Anne Mueller is a Vietnamese - Canadian educator and award-winning filmmaker based in Edmonton, Alberta. Anne's years of working on theatre productions and film sets, along with an internship at CBC, sparked her passion for storytelling. She majored in Dramatic Arts and earned a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta.

In 2021, Anne received a film grant that allowed her to write and direct her first TV series. Anne's directorial TV debut was a children's cooking program titled Cooking with Kyssara, which continued for three seasons on TELUS Optik TV. The series won several awards including Best Family Film, Best Cinematography and an Audience Choice Award.
In 2024, Anne wrote, directed, and produced a documentary titled The Artist: A Creative Journey, narrated by actor Andrew Phung, featuring multi-platinum singer-songwriter Tyler Shaw, muralist Alixandra Jade, singer-songwriter Martin Kerr, and dancer Paige Elson. The film was nominated by multiple film festivals for Best Documentary and screened in theatres across Canada and internationally.


Currently, in development is FALLING IN ACTION, a documentary spotlighting Canadian stunt performers and fight designers and the creation of safe training spaces.
The documentary is scheduled to be released in 2027.
